IRON LADDER — Privacy Policy

Iron Ladder is a social fitness app for logging workouts and competing with friends. This policy describes what we collect and how it's used.

What we collect

• Account information — your email address, display name, and sign-in provider (email, Google, or Apple), used to create and secure your account.
• Profile details you provide — gender, bodyweight, and units, used for features like fair strength scoring.
• Fitness data you log — workouts, sets, and bodyweight entries.
• Step counts — read from Apple Health only with your permission, used for step leaderboards and goals. You can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy → Health.
• Social content — group memberships, feed posts, reactions, comments, and messages you send.
• Diagnostics — app version and basic usage signals (e.g. last opened) to operate and improve the service.

How it's used

Your data powers the app's features: leaderboards and progress visible to members of groups you join, feeds, messaging, and your personal analytics. We do not sell your data, and we do not show ads.

Where it lives

Data is stored with Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore). Access is enforced by server-side security rules — for example, only members of your groups can see your group activity.

Sharing

Content you post is visible to members of the groups you share it with. We don't share personal data with third parties except the infrastructure providers above, or where required by law.

Your controls

• Delete your account anytime in Profile → Delete Account — this permanently removes your profile, workouts, history, and group memberships.
• Report or block any user or content from within the app.
• Health access is optional and revocable in iOS Settings.

Subscriptions

Optional premium features are billed through Apple. We never see your payment details.
